PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air blower in which output from a CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration sensor can be input, a CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration is discriminated in accordance with different output values of the CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration sensor and ventilation air volume control corresponding to the CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration can be performed. SOLUTION: An air blower 1 comprises an electric motor 13 which rotates a fan provided in a body. The air blower 1 further comprises: an input terminal section 6 to which a CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration sensor 5 can be connected and a sensor signal from the connected CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration sensor 5 can be input; a range setting section 7 which sets a corresponding relation between an output value of the sensor signal input to the input terminal section 6 and a CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration; and a control section 10 which converts the sensor signal into CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration based on setting of the range setting section 7 and controls the electric motor based on the converted CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>concentration.
