PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radiation imaging apparatus capable of wholly extending the breast placed on a photographing stand without using the technical work of a medical engineer. SOLUTION: A control part moves a pressure member 60 toward a nipple from walls of the chest and rotates a support shaft 64 in the direction shown by the arrow C. By this constitution, the edge of one spiral groove 60A extends the nipple N in the width direction and the edge of the other spiral groove 60B extend the nipple N to the other side of the width direction.
