PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify contents desired by a user. SOLUTION: Regarding a content output device, a provision source storage part stores a provision source of key contents which are contents to be a key of retrieval and a provision source of contents to be a retrieval object among the plurality of provision sources capable of providing a present device with the contents, in correspondence. An acquisition part acquires information of the contents provided in the provision source corresponding to the provision source of the key contents selected by an operation reception part. An association degree calculation part calculates an association degree between the contents provided in the provision source of the contents to be the retrieval object and the key contents. An output part outputs list information in which the information of the contents associated with the key contents is arranged according to the association degree.
