PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an entry of an original to an original scale part during flat bed (FB) reading. SOLUTION: Relative to the thickness of a fixing member body 71, an original scale part 72 is formed thin. A double-sided adhesive tape 74 for fixing read glass 57 for FB is stuck over a bottom surface 71a of the fixing member body 71 and a bottom surface 72a of the original scale part 72. The read glass 57 for FB is harder than a frame 70 formed of plastic and is not easily deformed. Thus, the bottom surface 72a far from the upper surface of the read glass 57 for FB is drawn to the upper surface direction of the read glass 57 for FB by the double-sided adhesive tape 74. As a result, since the original scale part 72 which is formed thin is curved downwards, a bottom surface 73a of an original abutting part 73 inside the original scale part 72 is closely attached to the upper surface of the read glass 57 for FB.
