The valve (10) has a force measuring device (20) connected between a drive unit (18) and a flow restrictor (12). The force measuring device includes a plate spring, an anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) sensor, a permanent magnet, a lever and a sensor element for measuring position change of a measuring point relative to a reference point and determining force during travel by change in the spring. A lever arm is provided between the spring and the travel measuring device, and mechanically amplifies the measured travel. The drive unit is coupled with a valve body via a valve rod (16).
