<p>A power transmission device for a vehicle includes a casing mounted on a vehicle, a rotational shaft supported in the casing and rotated by an engine, first and second speed changing shafts, supported in the casing and changing a speed of rotation of the rotational shaft, a first speed clutch mechanism and a second speed clutch mechanism provided between the rotational shaft and the first and second speed changing shafts, respectively, and an output shaft outputting rotation of one speed changing shaft selected by each of the clutch mechanisms. A first brake device applying a braking force to the first speed changing shaft and a second brake device applying the braking force to the second speed changing shaft are provided in the casing.</p> |
