<p>During a performance test of an optical axis control system for a headlight that includes an optical axis control device (1) for a headlight and an optical axis adjustment mechanism (11), an examiner rocks a vehicle body (10) in a specific rocking pattern. Because a rocking pattern detection unit (3) detects said artificial specific rocking pattern by using a substantially continuous tilt angle of the vehicle body (10), which is detected by a radio-wave-based tilt angle sensor (2), and switches the control to be performed by an optical axis control unit (4) from slow-responding optical axis control for traveling to quick-responding optical axis control for testing, the performance test can be easily conducted.</p> |
