PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a drive unit for a liquid discharge head, capable of supplying an appropriate drive voltage for stabilization of a supply power source and for suppression of variation of discharge properties between elements; a liquid discharge device; and an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: The drive unit includes: a drive waveform generating means (28) which generates a drive waveform signal as a base of a drive voltage signal; a plurality of power amplifier circuits (22A-22D) which power-amplifies the drive waveform signal and outputs the drive voltage signal; and a plurality of auxiliary power supply circuits (24A-24D) each provided to the power amplifier circuit for supplying a power supply voltage to each of the plurality of power amplifier circuits (22A-22D). The liquid discharge head (10) is divided into a plurality of nozzle groups and includes for every block (12A-12D) corresponding to each nozzle group: the power amplifier circuit (24A-24D) for outputting the drive voltage signal to be applied to a discharge energy generating element belonging to the block (12A-12D); and the auxiliary power supply circuit (24A-24D).
