PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the solderability, the adhesion strength and thermal peeling resistance of a surface coating layer of an aluminum sheet strip for a lead frame having a surface coating layer. SOLUTION: The aluminum sheet strip for a lead frame includes an aluminum sheet strip as a base material, has a zincate-treated layer formed on the surface thereof, and has a Ni coating layer having an average thickness of 0.1 to 1.0μm, a Cu coating layer having an average thickness of 0.4μm or less, a Cu-Sn alloy coating layer having an average thickness of 0.1 to 1.0μm, and a Sn coating layer having an average thickness of 0.1 to 10.0μm formed in this order.
