The present invention provides a method for a policy-based information security service on a smart grid power network, the method comprises the steps of: allowing a user terminal to run a web browser and request a page corresponding to a specific URL to an information application server which provides URL pages through a service gateway; allowing the information application server to receive the page corresponding to the specific URL from a directory server and identify the received page to check a privacy access level preset to a privacy server based on the unique information of the user terminal; allowing the privacy server to transmit, to the user terminal, information classified according to the checked privacy access level.
