METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FLOW MOBILITY IN DISTRIBUTED MOBILITY MANAGEMENT NETWORK

A method and system for providing flow mobility in a distributed mobility management network are disclosed. The method for providing the flow mobility in the distributed mobility management network includes (a) storing session information according to an access from a mobility assisting access router by receiving the session information from the mobility assisting access router in response to an access of a terminal to each mobility assisting access router - the session information including terminal information, allocated addresses and data flow information; (b) analyzing the session information according to flow mobility policy to determine a target data flow to be moved; and (c) transmitting a flow movement request including the allocated addresses corresponding to the determined target data flow, to a new mobility assisting access router.
