<p>The present invention relates to a paste composition for corrosion-resistant artificial stone which is an environmentally friendly stone having similar feeling with a natural stone and has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties suitable for facilities, to a method of preparing artificial stone using the paste composition, and to an artificial stone prepared by the method. The paste composition includes 5-30 wt% of an unsaturated polyester resin, 5-20 wt% of a low profile agent, 10-70 wt% of aluminum hydroxide as a filler, 10-70 wt% of stone flour as a filler, 5-30 wt% of a stiffener, and additives such as 0.1-5.0 wt% of a dispersant, 0.1-5.0 wt% of a diluent, 0.1-5.0 wt% of a hardener, 0.1-5.0 wt% of a releasing agent, 0.1-5.0 wt% of a powdery low profile agent, and 0.1-5.0 wt% of thickener. Therefore, the artificial stone according to the present invention has shape and feeling like a natural stone in appearance, and sufficiently good mechanical properties for facilities, and also can greatly improve flame resistance and corrosion resistance.</p> |
