<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for automatically adjusting a volume of a vehicle audio system, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for automatically adjusting a volume, capable of adjusting a speaker volume such that a driver can listen to audio at a primary set level by measuring a noise inside the vehicle through a mike installed in the vehicle and adjusting the speaker volume according to the measured noise inside the vehicle. The apparatus for automatically adjusting a volume comprises: a vehicle information reception unit which detects vehicle information including a vehicle speed variation and doors or windows open/close state; a noise measurement unit which measures a noise level inputted through the mike in the vehicle; and an audio volume adjustment unit which adjusts an audio volume based on data inputted from the vehicle information reception unit and the noise measurement unit.</p> |
