The present invention relates to a nano-sized spherical porous zinc oxide powder, a method for producing the same, and a color cosmetic composition containing the same. When the spherical porous zinc oxide powder having a uniform particle size and used for the color cosmetic composition of the present invention is produced, the white turbidity of powder which is a problem of an existing inorganic UV blocking agent is reduced and adhesion is reinforced, so that feel of use is improved. Moreover, porosity is imparted to nano-sized spherical zinc oxide synthesized through a polyol process by inducing interparticle cohesion by means of continuous oxidation. The zinc oxide powder is produced through a method to adjust a particle shape so that the powder has a uniform nano size and silane can be treated using a single process. Thus, various formulations of color cosmetic compositions containing the same can be produced.
