The present invention relates to a water purifying system for removing impurities such as turbidity-causing materials, dissolved materials and microorganisms included in water and, more particularly, to a water purifying system including a process of recovering backwashing water in which the amount of discharged backwashing water supplied to a thickener is reduced by filtering the discharged backwashing water generated by a membrane separation process and recovering the backwashing water to the initial process of water purification.
