PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic drive device enhancing both the magnetic property and the corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: A connection member 76 connected to the pump body 11 of a high-pressure pump includes a movable core chamber 74 which contains a movable core 81 for reciprocating movement on a suction valve side of a fixed core 80 and in which fuel of a supply passage 100 flows. A case 60 covering the radial outside of a coil 73 is connected to the connection member 76 on an axial suction valve side and to the fixed core 80 on the opposite side from an axial suction valve to so that, together with the fixed core 80, the movable core 81 and the connection member 76, it forms a magnetic circuit in which the magnetic flux of a magnetic filed excited by the coil 73 flows. The saturation magnetic flux density of stainless steel forming the fixed core 80 and the movable core 81 is larger than the saturation magnetic flux density of stainless steel forming the case 60. With this, the corrosion resistance of the electromagnetic drive device 70 can be enhanced and the magnetic attraction force can be increased. |
