PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device which can simply change an opening shape of a diaphragm, and change the opening shape of the diaphragm to an optional shape. SOLUTION: A photographing device 100 includes: an opening shape storage portion 11 for storing a plurality of opening shapes; an opening shape selecting conversion rotating portion 12 for selecting one opening shape from the plurality of the opening shapes stored in the opening shape storage portion; and a liquid crystal diaphragm 21 which is configured by a liquid crystal panel and drives a liquid crystal panel so as to make light pass therethrough in an area corresponding to the opening shape, according to the opening shape selected by the opening shape selecting conversion rotating portion 12.
