PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of reducing the height of a measuring instrument while controlling deterioration in measuring performance of the measuring instrument. SOLUTION: An upper side structure 200 for supporting a measuring plate 150 and a lower side structure 300 fitted into the upper side structure 200 with a gap therebetween constitute a housing 500. A measuring sensor 400 is stored in the housing 500. One end part 430 of the measuring sensor 400 is attached to the inner surface 201 of the upper side structure 200 and the other end part 440 of the measuring sensor 400 is attached to the inner surface 301 of the lower side structure 300, respectively. In the inner surface 201 of the upper side structure 200, a wall part is erected at the circumference of a mounting surface with the one end part 430 of the measuring sensor 400 attached thereto. In the inner surface 301 of the lower side structure 300, a wall part is erected at the circumference of a mounting surface with the other end part 440 of the measuring sensor 400 attached thereto.
