The feed station has first waypoint on goods transport path, perpendicular to position of second sensor. A third waypoint is provided orthogonal to position of third sensor. The first distance between third and fourth waypoint is less than minimum length of to-be-transported goods, and is greater than or equal to second distance between fourth waypoint and way terminal point turn. A control unit is programmed, to adjust transport speed of transport apparatus, so that distance between occasional flat goods on minimum distance is reduced, and is set equal, when goods leave the feeder. The feed station has drive motors with associated encoders, other mechanical drive elements, sensors and control unit for controlling transport device. The control unit on the input side is connected with sensors and encoders. The arrangement of sensors and drive elements in a frame of the feed station is orthogonal to the transport path, such that the image of each orthogonal position corresponds to each waypoint on the transport path. |
