[Class 26.] A bath, lavatory basin, sink or tray, is provided with a close-fitting lining of indiarubber which is provided with shaped edges to engage over a curled rim or the wall of the article. The lining may be of varying thicknesses, may be reinforced with canvas and may be provided with a non-slipping surface either wholly or in part. As applied to a bath, Fig. 3, a tray, Fig. 9, or a lavatory basin, the edge 4 of the lining engages under the lip 2 of the bath &c. ; the lining may be formed with projections, ridges or corrugations 9, and with holes, which may be reinforced, through which the waste and overflow outlets 5, 6 are passed, the lining being secured by nuts 5a, 6a. A bath lining may be formed with a cushion 10, Fig. 6, to serve as a seat and with an additional or alternative cushion for the back. In the case of a lavatory basin &c., Fig. 8, the lining may be shaped to cover the soap receptacle 7 and the back and side walls 8 of the basin. |
