<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reinforcing protrusion rib of a reinforced hose having the reinforcing protrusion rib spirally wound on the outside thereof from being cracked due to an external force. <P>SOLUTION: A wire 2 and the reinforcing protrusion rib 3 are arranged so that a crossing angleθbetween the wire 2 and the reinforcing protrusion rib 3 is reduced with the result that overlapping area S between the wire 2 and the reinforcing protrusion rib 3 is formed in an increased length along the extension direction of the reinforcing protrusion rib 3. As a result, in the case where a groove 3b is formed on the welding surface 3a of the reinforcing protrusion rib 3 for laying the wire 2 therein, if the reinforcing protrusion rib 3 is partially recessed as external forces, such as bending and crushing of the hose, are applied, these forces are dispersed into the groove 3b.
