PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch button installing structure equipped with a simple structure capable of preventing a switch button from coming off, without receiving restriction in a shape or a structure. SOLUTION: A switch button 5 has an installation piece 5b projecting out in a direction intersecting a push-down operating direction. A case 2 has a storage receiving portion 2f in which the installation piece 5b is stored, and an insertion receiving portion 2h in which a coming-off preventive member 30 for preventing the coming-off of the installation piece 5b is inserted. The coming-off preventive member 30 has a guiding portion 31. The insertion receiving portion 2h has a locking portion 2d to which the guiding portion 31 is elastically installed and engaged. The guiding portion 31 and the locking portion 2d are elastically installed and engaged in a direction intersecting a coming-off preventing member inserting direction, and the installation piece 5b is retained and engaged on a back surface of the coming-off preventive member 30.
