PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial-antiviral treatment method for a fiber product capable of providing an antibacterial and antiviral effect simply and easily just by spraying to the fiber products. SOLUTION: In the antibacterial-antiviral treatment method for the fiber product, an antibacterial-antiviral composition comprising (a)1,4-bis (3,3'-(1-decylpyridinium) methyloxy) butanedibromide of 0.01-5.0 mass% and (b)water are packed into a spray container, an average particle diameter of sprayed particles at a distance of 30 cm from a injection hole of the spray is set to 80μm or more, and then the fiber product is subjected to spray treatment.
