PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of transfer dust on a non-embossed face while suppressing generation of a gradation pattern on an embossed face of embossed paper. SOLUTION: Record sheet is made to approach to a secondary transfer nip by abutting a nip formation roller 36 on an intermediate transfer belt 31. After the record sheet is subjected to secondary transfer of a toner image on a belt, the toner image is fixed on the record sheet by a fixation device 90. Then, the record sheet is inversion-re-conveyed by an inversion re-conveyance apparatus 105 and the other face of the record sheet is subjected to secondary transfer processing and fixation processing. In the above configuration, a secondary transfer bias power supply 39 is configured such that a first secondary transfer bias before inversion-re-conveyance is made to be different from the second secondary transfer bias after the inversion-re-conveyance.
