The method comprises the following steps: receiving transaction request to determine whether the request can be approved without additional processing. If so, the permission is issued, otherwise, the region identification data is obtained, where transaction is requested. Then determination of location register (LR) data received from mobile network provider goes, for the mobile communication device associated with a person, requesting transaction. This data identifies the region where the mobile device is situated. Afterwards, comparison of transaction request region data to mobile device location data is performed. If the two sets of data coincide, the transaction is allowed, otherwise, additional authentication is required.
