PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for injection molding capable of preventing the occurrence of defective molding by optimizing a delivery amount and a pressure of molten resin delivered into a cavity, and capable of stably producing a high quality molding. SOLUTION: The injection molding device 1 has a structure for injecting the molten resin by an injection screw 21 and injecting and filling the molten resin into the cavity 31 through valve gates 32 and 33. The injection molding device 1 includes gate pins 34 and 35 adjusting openings of the valve gates 32 and 33, a gate pin driving part 38 controlling the advance and retreat positions of the gate pins 34 and 35, a screw position sensor 22 detecting an advance position of the injection screw 21, and a controller 5 calculating a target advance and retreat position based on a condition map 6. The injection molding device 1 has the structure for controlling the advance and retreat positions of the gate pins 34 and 35 so that the advance and retreat positions of the gate pins 34 and 35 always approach the target advance and retreat position by the gate pin driving part 38.
