<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a mesh model applicable to a large-scale shape model in an easier way than before. <P>SOLUTION: A geological model of a meshing target is divided into a plurality of blocks, and these blocks are meshed from one end of the geological model to the other end. At this time, a constraint face is defined in a block to be meshed on the basis of arrangement of nodal points and connections in a meshed block. Nodal points and connections are disposed on the constraint face so as to coincide with the arrangement of the nodal points and connections on a face of the meshed block which is in contact with the constraint face. Then a target block is meshed while maintaining the arrangement of the nodal points and connections on the constraint face. Through repetition of such processing, each block is meshed while aligning the nodal points and connections between adjoining blocks. Furthermore, blocks may be meshed in parallel after setting a constraint face to each block in a way that the arrangement of the nodal points and connections coincides between adjoining blocks beforehand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
