PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end part waterproof structure of an external facing material having two longitudinal ends with enhanced waterproof property, in the external facing material forming external facing of a building or a structure. SOLUTION: In a connecting structure of two longitudinal ends of the long external facing materials A each having a substantially vertical decorating surface 4 and male-female connecting structures on upper and lower ends of the decorating surface 4, a waterproof spaceγis formed in an engaging groove 11 on each of both ends of the external facing material A by vertically connecting the external facing material A to another, of which a recess/projection part 18 is formed at least on an upper edge 9 on the surface side in an engaging groove 11 formed to recess upward in a lower end of the external facing material A, or on a joint face 12 on the surface side of a fitting element 17 formed to project upward on an upper end of the external facing material A.
