[Class 44.] The sections of a portable building or the panels i, Fig. 1, of a wall, are interconnected by a two-part clip, one part a of which is of sheet metal having inturned sides b and outwardly extending lips c. The other part f of the clip is sprung between the lips c, the engagement of the parts being such that the panels are gripped between them. In the form shown, the part f comprises a sheet-metal clip of similar cross section to the part a. The part f may be provided with an extension j which is bent over as shown to engage with a panel i<1> disposed at right-angles to the panel i. Tn a modification, the part f is replaced by a solid element l, Fig. 3, of vulcanized rubber or the like. For cavity walls, two elements r, Fig. 6, are used in conjunction with a central part o to grip the spaced panels i in position. |
