A casing 100 for a heat recovery system comprises a chamber 110 to accommodate a heat recovery cell 101, an air inflow inlet 116, an air inflow outlet 118, an air outflow inlet 122, and an air outflow outlet 120. A heat recovery cell bypass mechanism (200, Fig. 3) is located between the inlet 122 and the chamber 110. The bypass mechanism (200, Fig. 3) comprises a shutter flap (202, Fig. 3) which is rotatable between an open position and a closed position in which the shutter flap (202, Fig. 3) prevents air from flowing into the chamber 110 from the inlet 122. The shutter flap (202, Fig. 3) is shaped to act as an air guide vane to guide air into the chamber 110 when the shutter flap (202, Fig. 3) is in the open position. The casing 100 may comprise upper section 102 and lower section 104, one of which may have a convex profile. The upper 102 and lower 104 sections may abut to form the chamber 110. The casing 100 may comprise an electrical enclosure (300, Fig. 13(b)) and a sliding mechanism (302, Fig. 13(b)). |
