The present invention relates to a light guide plate enhancing the brightness of a liquid crystal display device. The light guide plate includes: a light guide plate body which guides the incoming light to output the light through the upper surface; a polarization converting unit which is formed on the upper surface of the light guide plate body and includes a reflection surface arranged in the light guide plate to reflect the incoming light and an exit surface outputting the light reflected by the reflection surface. The light outputted from the exit surface is reflected by the upper surface of the light guide plate body.
