PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain fairness of a game by preventing that an unintended game is executed on game control. SOLUTION: In this game machine performing distribution operation of a game ball inside a movable ball entrance gimmick device and generating big winning by specific area passage, a progress situation of the game corresponding to a special symbol is controlled by a value of special game management status. That is, the game machine performs variation of the special symbol when the status is "01H", and performs stop display of the special symbol when the status is "02H". When the status changes from "03H" to "04H", the game machine opens the movable ball entrance gimmick device. Thereafter, though the status changes from "05H" to "06H", the game machine ends a time reduction function in timing when the status changes to "06H", and maintains the status "06H" during the opening of a variable start winning device.
