The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a seat frame and a backrest frame which is in each case connected pivotably to the seat frame at the sides via fittings, wherein the fittings are screwed at least to the seat frame. It is essential to the invention in this case that a screwing(-in) direction of at least one screw fixing one fitting in each case to the associated seat frame runs substantially in the vertical direction of the vehicle. A significantly improved force flux in the event of a rear or front impact of the motor vehicle and simplified assembly can thereby be achieved. |
