摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-formability folding hollow polyhedron allowing formation of the three-dimensional hollow polyhedron with easy opening/closing or folding operation. SOLUTION: This hollow polyhedron (quadrangular pyramid-shaped hollow polyhedron) 1 having an odd number of faces includes: a first basic element member 2 (2a, 2b) constituting one square first face; and second basic element members 3 (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) constituting four equilaterally triangular second faces each adjacent to the first face in a state that one side is shared, each forming an inclined face to the first face. The first basic element member 2 (2a, 2b) includes a pair of right isosceles triangular folding element members 2a, 2b foldable along a diagonal, and the basic element members adjacent to each other are formed as two pairs of opening/closing element members facing to each other and forming an openable/closable opening part 5. Adjacent parts between the first basic element member 2 (2a, 3b) and the second basic element members 3 (3a-3d) are bendably formed through hinge type connection portions (thin parts) except opening edges of the opening/closing element members.
