SOLUTION: The method for evaluating a carcinogenic risk inhibitory effect of a material to be tested on alimentary canal cancer includes administering a material to be tested to a nonhuman animal with alimentary canal inflammation introduction, isolating alimentary canal epidermal cells from the animal after the alimentary canal inflammation introduction and administration of the material to be tested and measuring DNA methylation level of CGI of Hoxa5 gene in the isolated alimentary canal epidermal cells.
