PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power-supply device capable of achieving further reduction in cost, a refrigeration cycle device, an air conditioner, and a refrigerator.SOLUTION: A DC power-supply device includes a rectifier circuit 50, an AC voltage detector 12, a control unit 10, and a driving unit 14 having a driving power-supply circuit for driving a semiconductor switch on the basis of driving signals s1 and s2. The control unit 10 determines the polarity of an AC power supply 1 on the basis of a voltage value detected by the AC voltage detector 12, causes one semiconductor switch 3 of the rectifier circuit 50 to be an off state according to the polarity, and causes the other semiconductor switch 4 of the rectifier circuit 50 to perform on and off operation to charge a driving power source for the semiconductor switch 3 to the driving power-supply circuit. |
