FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: directional coupler contains two rectangular waveguides, connected along the wider side with communication holes. Interval between the holes is equal to the quarter of wavelength. Each of the holes has sector-shaped metallic plate installed. The plate is galvanically connected to the wider side of the waveguide. The sector axes are shifted by 10°-25° relative to each other.EFFECT: obtaining frequency-independent characteristics in a wide frequency range with a short communication area.2 dwg |
