PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting mold capable of preventing early base material exposure in a short side movement region of a long side becoming a mold corner part on the side of the long side when short sides are laterally-movably arranged opposite to each other between the oppositely-arranged long sides. SOLUTION: This continuous casting mold 10 includes long sides 12, 13 arranged opposite to each other, and sort sides 14, 15 laterally-movably arranged opposite to each other between the long sides 12, 13, wherein multi-tapers where the inner width of the facing long sides 12, 13 is reduced in the casting direction of a slab are formed inside the long sides 12, 13; wear-resistant reinforcing films are formed on the inner sides of the long sides 12, 13; and the thickness of reinforcing films 18, 19 in short side movement regions where the long sides 12, 13 abut on the short sides 14, 15 is set larger than the thickness of reinforcing films 20 formed in central regions of the long sides 12, 13.
