PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film for use in decorative laminates or decorative sheets, wherein this laminated polyester film does not cause environmental problems in incineration, and can yield a decorative laminate or sheet which is not affected by the color tone of a substrate and does not suffer from conspicuous interference unevenness as observed from the surface side of a clear hardcoat and which thus has highly designed or excellently patterned surface appearance. SOLUTION: The laminated polyester film is a polyester film that is for use in decorative laminates or sheets produced by disposing at least a film layer and a hardcoat layer sequentially on the surface of a substrate and can serve as the film layer and that exhibits a transmission density of 0.1 to 5.0 and has a primer layer on at least one surface on which the hardcoat layer is to be disposed, the primer layer being a layer formed from a coating fluid that contains a metal oxide, an oxazoline compound and an epoxy compound.
