Provided is a connector for preventing damage to an electroconduction pattern of a substrate at a distal end of a terminal of a mating connector when the mating connector is connected to a connector body. Inserting terminals of a mating connector into guide holes (31) of a guide member (30) causes the terminals of the mating connector to be connected to terminals (20) of a connector body (10) via insertion holes (1a) of a substrate (1). Therefore, distal ends of the terminals of the mating connector are prevented from contacting the upper surface of the substrate (1) even when the terminals of the mating connector fail to be inserted into the guide holes (31) of the guide member (30). Inserting a fixing pin (32) of the guide member (30) into the connector body (10) side via some of the insertion holes (1a) in the substrate (1) causes the guide member (30) to be fixed to the connector body (10); therefore, the guide member (30) need not be directly fixed to the substrate (1), and instead can easily be fixed to the connector body (10). |
