PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lock arm from being broken. SOLUTION: A cantilevered lock arm 34 for keeping a mating housing in a fitting condition is flexibly formed on a housing 20, and a pair of protection walls 45 are formed to stand on both sides across the lock arm 34, and a support face 33, to which leg parts 35 as fulcrums of a flexion action of the lock arm 34 are connected, is formed. An operation part 37 for releasing a locking condition to the mating housing is formed at a free end of the lock arm 34. A first restraining part 49 contacting the operation part 37 when the lock arm 34 is excessively flexed and deformed in an unlocking direction is formed on the support face 33 of the housing 20. A second restraining part 48 contacting the operation part 37 when the lock arm 34 is excessively flexed and deformed in a direction opposite to the unlocking direction is formed on the protection wall 45.
