The present invention relates to a packaging film for a display device and a display device having the same. The packaging film is used to package a rear surface element installed on the rear surface of a display panel. The packaging film includes: a first area arranged on the front surface of the rear surface element; and a second area which is extended from the first surface and is arranged on the side surface of the rear surface element. The present invention can implement a display device with enhanced performance.
