The present invention relates to an optical film and a liquid crystal display including the same. The optical film is a single film of a polycarbonate resin with a hetero-alicyclic group. The film includes a top surface layer and a bottom surface layer which are located on the surface thereof in a thickness direction thereof and a film internal layer which is located between the top surface layer and the bottom surface layer. The film internal layer is slantingly arranged in the thickness direction of the film. A slope alignment angle is increased from the boundary surface between the film internal layer and the top surface layer to the boundary surface between the film internal layer and the bottom surface layer and is decreased after an inflection point. The bottom surface layer faces a liquid crystal cell.
