The present invention relates to a flag hoisting device wherein a flagpole is placed at right angles to a horizontal window frame on a veranda, and a flag automatically drawn downwards and hoisted in case a flag hoist is required. The flag hoisting device comprises: a flag winding rod around which a flag is wound; a flagpole; a first drive motor which applies a driving force to place the flagpole in a line with or at right angles to a horizontal window frame on a veranda; a second drive motor which applies the driving force to wind or unwind the flag only when the flagpole is placed at right angles to the horizontal window frame on the veranda; a spring which elastically winds and unwinds the flag; a battery which supplies current to the first and second drive motors; and a control part electrically connected to the first and second drive motors and the battery, and controls the driving direction of the first and second drive motors.
