FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of determining edge curves of an object on an image. The method comprises converting an image into a digital spectrozonal image on which each pixel is assigned a hue value from a HSV colour space, which corresponds to a colour angle H on a predetermined colour circle, classifying the object pixel whose hue is within a predetermined range of values and a background pixel determining an entropy profile. The method comprises differentiation and consideration of extreme values of the determined entropy profile and determination of edge curves of the object having the highest entropy difference.EFFECT: determining edge curves of an object without clearly defined contours.2 cl, 5 dwg |
