Automated circuit design using active set solving process

A method is described that involves solving a family of equations for a circuit being designed over a subset of operational scenarios, thereby producing numeric values for design parameters of the circuit. The family of equations is enhanced with the numeric values are solved over a second subset of the operational scenarios. A design for the circuit that includes the numeric values is produced.

solving, using a computing device, a family of equations for a circuit being designed over a first subset of operational scenarios concurrently, producing numeric values for design parameters of the circuit; solving the family of equations enhanced with the numeric values over a second subset of the operational scenarios individually, wherein the second subset of the operational scenarios comprises remaining operational scenarios after the first subset of the operational scenarios is processed; and producing a design for the circuit that includes the numeric values for the design parameters.
