<p>The present invention relates to an inspection apparatus and an inspection method for a return spring of an auto clutch. According to the present invention, multiple coil springs assembled with a fixed plate are respectively imaged and the images are read so as to automatically determine the soundness of the assembly state of the coil springs and the defect of the return spring can be automatically inspected. The present invention includes a main body that has a rotating plate and a motor directly or indirectly connected to the rotating plate to rotate the rotating plate; light that is disposed in the main body to protrude to an upper portion of the main body through a central portion of the rotating plate; a camera that is arranged to be positioned in a side surface portion of the main body, is arranged to face the light at the same height between the coil springs provided in the return spring, and images the return spring; a fixing jig that has a circular ring shape for the light to penetrate a central portion, is assembled on the rotating plate to rotate with the rotating plate, and has a circular central protruding portion on an upper surface to be assembled with the return spring after being inserted into the central portion of the return spring; and a control unit that controls the motor and the light and determines the defect of the return spring by reading the image acquired by the camera.</p> |
