an input unit configured to input a disjunctive k/n voting gate with inputs of OR gates, n having a size that is splittable by the fault tree gate-splitting system; anda k/n voting gate splitting unit configured to split said disjunctive k/n voting gate with inputs of OR gates into a disjunction of k/m voting gates (m≦n and m≧k) without inputs of said OR gates.
