A controlling a cache memory includes: a data receiving unit to receive a sensor ID and data detected by the sensor; an attribute information acquiring unit to acquire attribute information corresponding to the sensor ID, from an attribute information memory, the attribute information memory storing the attribute information of the sensor mapped to the sensor ID; a sensor information memory to store information of a storage period, the sensor information memory including a cache memory storing the attribute information; and a cache memory control unit to acquire the attribute information from the attribute information acquiring unit when the attribute information is not stored in the cache memory, and store the acquired attribute information corresponding to the sensor ID in the cache memory during the storage period.

a memory including the cache memory configured to store attribute information mapped to a sensor ID; and a processor that executes a procedure in the memory, the procedure including
a data receiving process to receive sensor information transmitted by a sensor, the sensor information including a sensor ID identifying the sensor and data detected by the sensor,a determining process to determine whether attribute information corresponding to the received sensor ID is stored in the cache memory,an attribute information acquiring process to acquire, when the attribute information corresponding to the received sensor ID is not stored in the cache memory, the attribute information corresponding to the received sensor ID from an attribute information memory, the attribute information memory storing the attribute information of the sensor mapped to the received sensor ID,a storing process to store the acquired attribute information corresponding to the received sensor ID in the cache memory for a limited storage period, the limited storage period being determined based on the frequency of receiving sensor information transmitted by the sensor.
