Disclosed is a work history log management system for a database server which enables a user computer to inquire data through an application server. The work history log management system includes: a management system which stores log-target action selection data as criteria to select data manipulation actions to log among data manipulation actions and data item selection data as criteria to select data items to log among data items for the data manipulation actions selected to log; a monitoring/action analysis unit which monitors the data manipulation actions executed in the application server, selects log-target actions by referring to the log-target action selection data stored in the management system, and extracts selected data items by referring to the data item selection data among the selected log-target actions; and a log generator which receives the data items of the log-target actions extracted by the monitoring/action analysis unit and generates log data in a file format. By selecting and logging certain actions, selecting and logging certain data items during the certain actions, or applying both at the same time, the present invention enables logging of necessary data only, thereby optimizing the logging and minimizing the amount of generated logs. |
